		<description>did you significantly increase your protein intake with that increase in excercise?? your muscles were probably crying out for protein, and if you were just eating vegetables or whatever the hell is in the DASH diet you definitely would be protein deficient, leading to a million and one problems. Tiredness? your muscles are worn out. Just because your lying down all day doesnt mean your body magically produces something to repair itself. You need meat and proteins to help repair your body.

Reply from blog owner: My initial reaction was that you were right-on with this one; one of the tenets of the DASH diet is to eat only 3-4 ounces of meat or other protein at a meal; however, since I&#039;ve switched diets, to more of a low-carb regimen, I&#039;m still only supposed to eat 4oz of protein at a meal (I sometimes cheat :) ) but it does specify that this is to happen at EVERY meal. Perhaps that made a difference.&lt;/em&gt;</description>
